Arkadiusz Bochniak, an independent expert and passionate about the card payment market. Active industry player for more than 23 years.
He gained experience in managerial positions at PolCard. For the last 7 years, he has been leading the Business Departmentat eService, and brought the Company to the top and the leader in Central Europe. During his professional career, he acquainted with the industry and gained experience also from the perspective of supplier (MCX Systems), consultant and merchant (RUCH S.A).
He graduated from the Faculty of Economicsat the University of Szczecin, an MBA from the West Pomeranian Business School accredited by the University of Leeds and postgraduate studies at the University of Warsaw. In his spare time he travels, and his exceptional patience during shopping explains his desire to see the terminal and way to pay in the most exotic places.
Heading Retail Payments Category in BP global procurement team responsible for acceptance & issuance strategies and implementation of major procurement activities and projects in payments area. Payments industry expert with almost 20 years of experience.
He joined BP in 1998 – from the very beginning related to the topic of payments. He spent first 10 years working in the fields of fuel cards covering various positions. He has been involved in supporting IT systems, business development and project management
In 2006 joined BP’s European structures leading business support team and later managing Payments Acceptance Strategy in Europe. As part of his career development he joined global procurement organization in 2014.
In the years 2012 – 2015 active member of POPIHN and FROB representing the fuel sector in the debate on fees related to payment cards in Poland as subject matter expert.
He graduated from the Faculty of Management at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow.
President of the Management Board of eService since October 2017
Has been associated with the company since 2004. Started as a director of the Department of Finance and Accounting and then Managing Director of the business and operations division. After seven years of work in the company’s structures, in 2011 Joanna Seklecka became the Vice President of the Management Board of eService SA, belonging to the PKO Bank Polski Group. In this position, she was responsible for the business and financial aspects of eService, leading the company to become the market leader in processing non-cash payments in Poland. In 2014, co-ordinated the transformation of the company, combined with the entry into the international group EVO Payments International. In the same year, while remaining on the position of Vice President of the Management Board of eService, she also assumed the position of General Manager for Poland in the EVO Payments International Group.
From October 2017 he is responsible for the entire CEE area (Central, Eastern Europe).
She was awarded the title of Expert of Fintech in 2017 by the organizers of the campaign “Known Experts”.
Joanna Seklecka is a graduate of the elite Stanford Executive Program, run by Stanford University and directed to the most experienced managers, Finance and Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics and Doctoral Studies in Management. Previously worked in the fields of computer games, consultancy and auditing.
She likes spending time with her closest friends, most willing to ski – both traditional and aquatic.
Sywester Suszek graduated from the Faculty of Management at the Jagiellonian University and studied MBA. Since 2014 he is a CEO of BitBay – the largest cryptocurrency trading platform in Central and Eastern Europe, one of the top exchanges in the world. From September 2016 he is also CEO of BitBayPay, a service which offers innovative solutions for fast, convenient and international Bitcoin payments. Sylwester is a Member of the Polish Bitcoin Association, cryptocurrency evangelist and a specialist in payments using cryptocurrency. As a member of the team at the Ministry of Digitization, he is a partner of financial and state institutions in the area of increasing the security of cryptocurrency trading. He was a speaker at conferences: Techmine Innovations, Forum on Electronic Media Law, SGC Bitcoin Seminar, Polish Cards and Systems, Digital Money & Currency Forum, TAPT 2015 and 2016, Fintech Digital Congress 2016 and Industrial Forum in Karpacz 2016.

Piotr Waś holds a masters degree from the University of Economics in Krakow. In the 90s he worked in companies involved in supplying solutions in the areas of IT and systems supporting management, including Qumak, Hogart, Exact Software. He gained managerial experience, among others, in the company First Data, at the position of the Sales Director and in Euronet Worldwide, at the position of the Sales Manager for Central Europe. Since 2012 he has been working in Ingenico Group as a Country Manager for Poland & Baltic countries and later in the same capacity for Ukraine and Hungary. In april 2017 he became the Managing Director responsible for Eastern Europe. Piotr Waś reports directly to Luciano Cavazzana, Senior Vice President EMEA, Banks & Acquirers Business Unit.

Responsible for the financial market regulation. Agnieszka was elected to the Board of Directors of the Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego in 2012. She held this position until November 2015.

Roman Pogorzelski manages Warsaw representative office of SIA S.p.A., one of the largest international payment processors. Roman started its career working for several years for American Express TRS Co, holding number of managerial positions within international structures of the company, including Sales Director role for prepaid products taking over responsibility for the company’s Central & Eastern Europe region. After leaving American Express, Roman joined consulting firm PentegyS.A., where, acting as a member of the company’s Board, was responsible for business development activities in both, domestic market in Poland (focusing on financial, public and utilities sectors) as well as internationally.Graduate of University of Warsaw, he holds an Executive MBA Diploma from University of Illinoi at Urbana Champaign in the US and University of Warsaw.

On 27 November 2015, Tadeusz Kościński was appointed Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Economic Development.
Tadeusz Kościński is responsible for the development and implementation of rules governing trade between the European Union and third states, issues related to economic security and supervising the provision of services related to electronic signature. Tadeusz Kościński coordinates activities related to the government’s investment policy. In 2015 Mr. Laniewski was named the 3rd most influential Person in Polish Economy after spearheading the Foundation’s successful efforts culminating in significant decrease in credit card transactions charges, from one of the highest within the European Union.
Prior to his career within the Foundation Mr Łaniewski had held a number of finance, operational and strategic management positions at Lotos Paliwa Sp. z o.o., where he was Member of the Management Board, CFO, Management Board Plenipotentiary for Strategic Projects and Commercial Proxy of the Company.

Piotr Alicki is a graduate of the Mathematics and Physics Department of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. He has a longstanding and extensive experience in management of banking system IT projects.
On 2 November 2010 Piotr Alicki became a Vice President of the Management Board of PKO Bank Polski SA for the term of office of that governing body commenced on 20 May 2008. On June 26, 2014 he was re-appointed for a joint three – year term of the Board and further within serves as the Vice President of the Management Board, in charge of Information Technology and Services.
Since 11 October 2011 he has been the Chairman of the Electronic Banking Council of the Polish Banks Association. From October 6, 2014 is a Member of the Supervisory Board of PKO Bank Hipoteczny S.A. (mortgage bank).
From 1 May 2011 to April 2015 he was a member of the Board of Directors of Visa Europe, where he represented PKO Bank Polski SA and other banks with Polish and seven countries in our sub-region.
In the years 1990-98 in the IT Department of Pomorski Bank Kredytowy SA in Szczecin, he was its Director from 1997, with responsibilities spanning design, development, implementation and operational oversight of all the bank’s transaction systems. In the years 1999 to 2010 he continued his career in Bank Pekao SA: subsequently as the Head of the IT Systems Maintenance and Development Department and since 2006 as the Head of the Bank’s Information Technology Division. His key achievements there included, among others: integration of the IT systems of four banks (Pekao, PBKS, BDK and PBG); implementation of the bank’s Integrated Information System and management of its IT based business analysis; and management of IT systems integration and migration of data from the BPH to the Pekao bank systems, including participation in the working group responsible for the design and preparation of the entire integration process.
In PKO Bank Polski S.A. as supervisor of Information Technology and Services, realized among others the following projects: integration of systems from Inteligo to Bank, the merger and integration from Nordea Bank Poland to PKO BP, IKO mobile payment system, which has been the for creating of Polski Standard Płatności (Polish standard payments).
Piotr Alicki took active part in the work of the Polish Bank Association: as a member of its Steering Committee for the Development of Bank Infrastructure, Payments System Committee, Issues Committee for Banking and Bank Financial Services, and its Electronic Banking Council. Since 2000 he has been a member of the Supervisory Council of the Krajowa Izba Rozliczeniowa S.A. (Polish national clearing chamber) and its Chairman in the years 2005-10. He is also a member of the Payments System Council working under the auspices of the National Bank of Poland, where in the years 2002-10 he represented Bank Pekao SA and since 2010 he has been representing PKO Bank Polski S.A. He also sat on a number of supervisory boards of the Bank Pekao SA Group companies. Since he became Vice-President of PKO Bank Polski S.A. he also was the member of the supervisory boards of the companies from PKO BP Capital Group – Inteligo Financial Services and Nordea Bank Poland.
He has been awarded the National Bank of Poland President’s honorary distinction for Merits to Polish Banking; and won the titles of the IT Sector Leader 1997, IT Sector Leader 2010 and the IT Sector Leader 2012.
Mariusz Cholewa, 44 is a Polish native. A graduate from the Faculty of Management, University of Gdańsk (1995). In 2005, he was awarded a PhD in Economics. He also completed postgraduate studies in Banking and Finance with specialisation in Investment Banking – a joint programme of the London Guildhall University, Gdańsk Academy of Banking and University of Gdańsk.
In the years 1993-1998, he worked for Gdańska Akademia Bankowa (Gdańsk Academy of Banking) as a Member of the Management Board and he was involved in researches conducted by the Market Economy Research Institute (IBNGR).
In the years 1995-2003, he was an associate professor at the Faculty of Management, University of Gdańsk.

He started to deal with the industry during his university time with the research of Siemens Eurochip for TPSA. His professional career he began at Elbank S.A. as a security officer where he was involved in the implementation of smart cards system for Lukas. In 2002-2003 he worked for Banpol Co. as the v-ce director of card payment department. He cooperated with Wincor Nixdorf till 2012, starting as a project manager and finally being the director of card payment department. Since autumn 2011 he took on a position of Area Delivery Manager and Practice Lead in Retail Consulting and Integrated Solutions for Eastern Europe region. He joined MCX Systems in August 2012, responsible for strategy and business development, President of the management Board till September 2017. In the years 1997-2012 was a member of Polish Body of International Standardization Organization, Committee 172 for ID cards. He is the author of many industry publications and conference lectures. He practices regularly sport, is interested in philosophy and foreign languages.

Grzegorz has had a long and successful career creating business growth and innovation in the banking sector in Poland.
Notably, at the turn of the millennium, the year 2000, he took an active part in the launch of Bank Millennium, with lead responsibilities for building and launching the credit cards for both of the Visa and American Express brands.
From late 2000 to 2004, he set about to create one of Poland’s first Internet bank Inteligo, within this project he initiated and stream lined the first full outsourcing of payment cards and their services within the Polish market.
In 2005-2008, he served as Director of Card Operations Center in PKO Polish Bank, managing a team of 200 employees serving over 8 million customers.
Since 2008, he worked at First Data in Poland, where he served as a board member, responsible for the business line of services for banks and financial institutions, in particular for sales and product development as well as overseeing risk and compliance issues in the company.
Grzegorz has also been an advisor to Visa Europe. A product marketing advisor to Mastercard Europe and has also served as Chairman of the Working Group – SEPA Cards PL. Since April 1, 2014, he was a Vice President PSP, responsible for business development payments. From June 2015 to June 2017 Grzegorz Długosz has been appointed a President of Polski Standard Płatności (the Polish Payment Standard). Currently he is a CEO at Comperia.pl
He is a graduate of the University of Marie Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin obtaining a degree in mathematics. Bartosz Ciolkowski since January 2014 as General Manager MasterCard Europe is responsible for MasterCard Polish operation based in Warsaw.
He joined MasterCard in 2005, where he was responsible for Credit Cards Business development in Central and Eastern Europe. Since 2009 was responsible for MasterCard Advisors business development in Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Croatia and CIS countries. During his work in MasterCard Advisors he was involved in over 50 projects in Central and Eastern Europe from both issuing and acquiring businesses mostly with banks and retailers. Some of them were: retail and banking driven multimerchant programs development, loyalty program implementations, co-branding mostly in airline, petrol, retail and fashion industries, payments products profitability optimization, pre-paid and innovative products development.
Since January 2013 as Head of Sales in MasterCard Warsaw office he was responsible for MasterCard business development with Banks in Poland.
His former experience includes Pekao SA where he was Card Business Development Department Manager responsible for payment cards and acquiring products development. Prior to Pekao SA he was project manager in BZ WBK eBusiness area involved in EMV implementation and POS network acquiring business development.

For several years connected with the card business and ATM at Bank Zachodni WBK. He supervises the development and strategy of personal accounts, credit and debit cards and other payment instruments. His responsibilities include supervision of loyalty programs, development of card innovations (mobile, NFC / HCE, digital wallets) and co-operation with other card processing companies. He is also responsible for cooperation and relationships with strategic partners in offering common solutions and packages of services to retail clients.
She has been involved in the financial and payment services sector since 2000. She acquired experience in the banking and telecommunications while working in Polish and foreign corporations (Citigroup, T-Mobile among others) and as a freelance adviser. In the years 2013-2017 she has been in charge of PayTel SA. She is a Board Member of the Coalition for Development of Cashless and Micro-Payments.
Graduated of Interdepartmental Individual Studies in Humanities at the University of Warsaw and International MBA program at the Warsaw University of Technology accredited by the London Business School. She is a PhD student in the Collegium of Management and Finance at the Warsaw School of Economics. She takes part in the “Presidents- Volunteers” Coalition as well is involved in the financial education projects.
